Born in Germany in 1879 Albert Einstein would become one of the most influential and well known physicists in modern history. After graduating in the year 1900 he would begin to work on his famous theory of relativity. This is where he derived his famous E=MC^2 equation, but importantly this is when he developed key calculations about black holes which would go on to be used by other scientists to further our knowledge on black holes. Born 1942 in oxford Stephen Hawking was one of the world's leading scientists in the field if blackholes having studied general relativity at oxford university where he received his PHD. He was the originator of the theory that says after the big bang there so called mini black holes where formed, these are black holes with masses in the billions if tones but only occupying the space of a single proton. He is the originator of many of the modern ideas and theory's surrounding black holes.
